My process for composing collage pieces is to create unique papers that I use as my painting 'palette'. I do this by incorporating multiple layers of paints and various textures onto existing paper. These can be book pages, maps, architectural drawings, music scores, etc. The more interesting the better in my opinion. When going through this process, sometimes the outcome of the layering creates it's own beautiful image. For those situations, I have added them as the 'Paper Palettes' collection to my RedBubble site. These are great organic/modern options for printing onto various products. Examples shown below.
